The Pololu Zumo chassis is a small, tracked robot platform that is less than 10 cm on each side, allowing it to qualify for Mini Sumo competitions. The main body is composed of black ABS and features a compartment for four AA batteries and sockets for two micro metal gearmotors. It ships as a kit with two silicone tracks, two drive and two idler sprockets, a 1/16″ acrylic mounting plate, and mounting hardware. Two DC motors are required to complete the kit (sold separately or selected as an option).

The miniature gearmotor (0.94" x 0.39" x 0.47"), is a high-quality, high-power motor with 100:1 metal gearbox. These units have a 0.365"-long, 3 mm-diameter D-shaped output shaft.

Key specs at 6 V: 320 RPM and 80 mA free-run, 30 oz-in (2.2 kg-cm) and 1.6 A stall.
