Description: Arduino is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple i/o board and a development environment that implements the Processing/Wiring language. Arduino can be used to develop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer (e.g. Flash, Processing, MaxMSP). The open-source IDE can be downloaded for free (currently for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux).

This is a 5V Arduino running the 16MHz bootloader.  Arduino Pro does not come with connectors populated so that you can solder in any connector or wire with any orientation you need. We recommend first time Arduino users start with the Duemilanove. It's a great board that will get you up and running quickly. The Arduino Pro series is meant for advanced users that understand the limitations of system voltage (5V), lack of connectors, and USB off board.

  • ATmega328 running at 16MHz external resonator. Select 'Arduino Duemilanove w/ 328' to get the delay functions to work correctly.
