EyeBot Mobile Robot controller

EyeBot is a controller for mobile robots with
wheels, walking robots or flying robots. It consists of a powerful 32-Bit microcontroller
board with a graphics display and a digital grayscale or color camera. The camera is
directly connected to the robot board (no frame grabber). This allows you write powerful
robot control programs without a big and heavy computer system and without having to
sacrifice vision - the most important sensor. The EyeBot controller is also powerful
enough to handle Artificial Intelligence, upload Neural Networks created with Neural Lab
v2.5. (check out the example in the Handy Files section).
Features
Ideal basis for programming of real time image processing
Integrated digital camera (grayscale or color)
Large graphics display (LCD)
Can be extended with own mechanics and sensors to full mobile robot
Programmed from IBM-PC or Unix workstation,
programs are downloaded via serial line (RS-232) into RAM or Flash-ROM
Programming in C or assembly language
Third generation hardware (see previous EyeBot-2)

- 6 free analog inputs
EyeCam - Digital Camera for EyeBot

EyeCam is a full color (24 bit), low resolution (80 x 60 pixels) digital camera to
be used with the EyeBot controller. This resolution is sufficient for most robotics tasks
and allows fast image processing.
The camera uses the latest CMOS technology which has a much better brightness range than
conventional CCD technology. EyeCam can be used directly on an EyeBot controller or
with an adapter cable on a PC, using the Improv software. Camera size (PCB size) is
3.0cm x 3.4cm, including 4 mounting holes.
The Eyenet Eyebot and Eyenet PC modules can be used for RF
communication between the Eyebot controllers and PC or between Eyebots.
